Aether-Magnetic Sensor with Offset Circuit
The Aether-Magnetic sensor has always had a rather high output offset voltage of over one volt positive, in many cases.
This is not a real problem when using a program such as RealView (software chart recorder), since it has a feature to allow expand the wave to
fill the screen, in spite of the offset. Some other programs, such as Dataq's WindaQ, (comes with their DI-149 and similar units),
can only compensate for this sensor, to a limited degree and therefore can't display the recorded output expanded to fill the recording window.
This output offset circuit, was designed to greatly reduce the problem by removing about one volt of offset, from the output.
The resistors R9 and R10 can be experimentally adjusted or replaced with a potentiometer, to change the amount of offset, if desired.
Aether-Magnetic sensor with an output offset compensator circuit added.
