Summary: Most of the polystyrene capacitors tested as sensors, worked very well.
All of the capacitors in test 1 worked very well. Nice clean waveforms.
These lower microfarad falues of polystyrene capacitors seem to have good wave detection and greater noise immunity.
The MPGO 4 uF seems a little noisy compared with the other capacitors of test 2.
The TC296 5 uF capacitor in test 3 is very noisy and distorted and would not be a good choice.
